Blank pages are not padding. In double-sided printing a chapter has to start on a right-hand page, so a section ending on an odd page needs an empty verso to push the next one across; a document going to a binder needs a blank where a divider will sit; a form needs a clear back for handwritten notes. This tool inserts them wherever the structure requires: at the start, at the end, after one specific page, or after every page.
The blanks take the size of the page next to them, so inserting into a document that mixes A4 and A3 does not produce a run of mismatched sheets. That is the detail that makes the result printable rather than merely correct.

Frequently asked questions
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
- What size are the inserted pages?
- The same as the page they sit next to. In a document of one paper size that is invisible; in a mixed one it is what stops a blank A4 turning up in the middle of an A3 foldout.
- How do I make chapters start on the right?
- In a double-sided document, odd pages are right-hand pages. Find each section that ends on an odd page and insert one blank after it — that pushes the next section's opening onto the following odd page.
- Do the blank pages make the file much bigger?
- Barely. An empty page holds no content, so it costs a few hundred bytes of structure. What it costs is paper, if the document is printed.
- Can I remove blank pages again?
- Yes — Remove blank pages finds them and shows you each one before it deletes anything, so a deliberately-inserted blank is not lost by accident.
