This tool renders every PDF page at high resolution and places it, full-bleed, on its own slide in a .pptx deck. Say the important part first: each slide is an image of the page. The text is not editable, because a PDF page and a PowerPoint text box are not the same kind of object and pretending otherwise produces a deck full of misplaced boxes that is worse than a picture.
As a picture, though, it is exactly right for the usual need — putting a document on screen in a meeting, or handing slides to someone whose only presentation tool is PowerPoint. You choose the deck shape: match the first page, standard 16:9 widescreen, or 4:3. Every page is fitted inside the slide without distortion, so a portrait A4 on a widescreen slide keeps its proportions and gains margins instead of being stretched.
How it works
- Drop in a PDF.
- Pick the slide format: match the first page, 16:9 or 4:3.
- Choose the rendering scale — higher is sharper and heavier.
- Download the .pptx deck, one slide per page.
What people use it for
- Showing a report or a set of drawings in a meeting that runs on PowerPoint.
- Building a handout deck from a document without rebuilding the layout by hand.
- Getting a PDF into a system that will only accept a .pptx upload.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
- Can I edit the text in the slides afterwards?
- No. Every slide is an image of the page. If what you need is editable content, use PDF to Word for the text, or extract the text and rebuild the slides — no automatic conversion turns a PDF page into faithful, editable PowerPoint shapes.
- The file is enormous. What can I do?
- Lower the rendering scale. Each slide holds a full-page image, so the deck's size is driven almost entirely by that setting. A lower scale is perfectly readable on a projector; the high scale is for print.
- Which slide format should I choose?
- Match the first page if the PDF is already the right shape and you want no margins. Choose 16:9 for anything being projected — it is what modern screens and every meeting room expect. Choose 4:3 only if you know the destination needs it.
- Why do my pages have white bars on the sides?
- Because a portrait page cannot fill a landscape slide without being cropped or distorted, so it is fitted inside and centred. Choosing "match the first page" removes the bars by making the slides the same shape as the document.
