Producing member cards one at a time is fine for five members and impossible for five hundred. This tool takes a CSV of your membership and lays out a card for each person: name, number, expiry, a photo if you have one, and a QR that can carry the member's own identifier rather than the same link for everybody. Eleven styles, and everything drawn as vectors so the cards stay sharp on a card printer.

The photos are cropped to fit their frame rather than squashed, which matters when the source images come from members' phones in whatever shape they happened to be. What the tool does not do is manage your membership: it renders the list you give it, so the names, numbers and expiry dates have to be right in the CSV before you start.

How it works

  1. Prepare a CSV with one row per member, and photos if you have them.
  2. Load the CSV and check the preview against a few rows.
  3. Pick one of the eleven styles and set what the QR should carry.
  4. Download the PDF and print it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
What should the CSV contain?
One row per member with the fields the card shows — typically name, membership number and expiry, plus a reference to a photo where you have one. Load it and check a few rows in the preview before committing to a run of hundreds.
Can each card have a different QR?
Yes. The QR can carry a value from the member's own row, so a scan identifies the holder rather than sending everybody to the same page — which is what makes the cards usable for check-in.
What happens to photos that are the wrong shape?
They are cropped to fill their frame instead of being distorted. A portrait photo in a landscape frame loses the top and bottom rather than being squeezed, which is what you want with pictures taken on phones.
How many styles are there?
Eleven. They vary in layout, colour and how much room the photo gets, so it is worth previewing two or three against a real row from your own data before printing the set.
