Mirroring a page is the operation you need when something was captured back to front: a document photographed through the paper, a scan made with the original face-down on a transparency, artwork prepared for transfer printing. Flip horizontally and the left-right reversal is undone; flip vertically and the top-bottom one is. You can apply it to the whole document or to just the pages that need it.

Unlike rotating, this one is not free, and the tool says so. Mirroring has to redraw the page, so the text on a flipped page stops being selectable and any links, comments or form fields it carried are removed. Pages you do not flip keep their original quality untouched. If the problem is orientation rather than reversal, use Rotate all — that changes a property and costs nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
Why is the text no longer selectable after flipping?
Because mirroring cannot be expressed as a page property the way rotation can — the page has to be redrawn. What you get is the correct picture, not the original text objects. Flip only the pages that need it and the rest of the document keeps its text.
What happens to my links and comments?
On flipped pages they are removed, and the tool warns you before it runs. Annotations are anchored to coordinates that no longer mean the same thing once the page is mirrored, so carrying them across would put them in the wrong place.
Is this the same as rotating?
No. Rotation turns the page; mirroring reverses it, the way a mirror does. Text that has been rotated is still readable from another angle — text that has been mirrored reads backwards. If your page is sideways rather than reversed, Rotate all is the tool and it is lossless.
Can I flip only some pages?
Yes — give a range such as 1-3, 5. Only those pages are redrawn; everything else is left exactly as it was.
