Exporting PDF pages as images is what you need whenever the destination cannot handle a PDF: a slide deck, a social post, a CMS that only accepts JPG, a printer with an awkward workflow. Each page is rendered at the resolution you choose and saved as a separate file.

Resolution is the decision that matters. 150 dpi is fine on screen; 300 dpi is the minimum for print; anything higher mostly produces very large files without visible benefit.

  3. Set the resolution in dpi.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
PNG or JPG?
PNG for pages that are mostly text, diagrams or flat colour — it keeps edges crisp. JPG for photographic pages, where it produces much smaller files at similar visible quality.
The text looks fuzzy in the image.
The resolution is too low. Go to 300 dpi or higher; unlike the PDF, an exported image is fixed at whatever resolution you chose.
Can I export only some pages?
Yes, choose a page range rather than the whole document.
