PowerPoint naar PDF
Zet .pptx-dia’s om naar een PDF, direct in je browser — één pagina per dia op het echte diaformaat, met tekst en afbeeldingen bij benadering geplaatst. Naar beste vermogen, geen uploads.
A .pptx file is a zip containing one XML document per slide, and those documents describe shapes: a title box here, a bulleted body there, a picture at these coordinates. This tool reads them directly — no Office, no LibreOffice, no conversion service — and draws one PDF page per slide at the deck's real dimensions, so a 16:9 presentation produces 16:9 pages rather than slides letterboxed onto A4.
It is a best-effort renderer and says so. Text and pictures are placed approximately where the slide puts them; animations, slide transitions, SmartArt, charts and video are not drawn at all. For circulating a deck as a readable document — the usual reason anyone converts one — that is enough. For a printed proof of a designed presentation, open it in PowerPoint and export from there.
How it works
- Drop in a .pptx file.
- Page through the preview to see how the slides came out.
- Download the PDF — one page per slide, at the slide's own size.
What people use it for
- Emailing a deck to someone who should read it but must not edit it.
- Attaching slides to a report or a grant application that only accepts PDFs.
- Archiving a presentation in a format that will still open in ten years.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
- Will it look exactly like PowerPoint?
- No, and the tool is explicit about that. Text and images are placed approximately; theme fonts are substituted; charts, SmartArt, animations and transitions are not rendered. Text-and-picture slides come out well, heavily designed slides come out simplified.
- Are speaker notes included?
- No. The PDF contains the slides themselves. Notes live in a separate part of the file and are left out, which is usually what you want when sending a deck to someone else.
- Can I convert an old .ppt file?
- No. The pre-2007 binary .ppt format is not the same container. Open it in PowerPoint or LibreOffice Impress and save as .pptx first.
- Why is my page size not A4?
- Because it is the slide's size. A widescreen deck is 33.87 × 19.05 cm, and forcing that onto A4 would either add wide margins or crop it. If you need A4, run the result through the Normalize page size tool.
