- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The file is opened by JavaScript and WebAssembly running inside your own browser tab. It is never uploaded, there is no server-side processing and nothing is stored — closing the tab discards everything.
- Is a drawn signature legally valid?
- It depends on the jurisdiction and the type of document. In many contexts a simple electronic signature is accepted for ordinary agreements, while property, employment and court documents often require a qualified digital signature. Check what the recipient requires.
- How do I get a clean signature image?
- Sign on white paper with a dark pen, photograph it in even light, and upload it — the background is removed so only the strokes are placed on the page.
- What is the difference from the Digital signature tool?
- That tool applies a cryptographic signature bound to a certificate, which detects any later modification of the document. This one places a picture of a signature.
